But while many brides go for the quintessential lehengas and sarees, this bride wore some very hatke outfits for her wedding functions.
Dhoti For The Mehendi
Palak Shah wore something totally unique for her mehendi ceremony. She chose a classic mint green dhoti kurta set and layered a bandhgala on top. The Kunal Rawal x Ekaya outfit was edgy and I like how effortlessly Palak carried it.
To complete her androgynous look, Palak added a statement haar and matching earrings from Shri Paramani Jewels. Her unique look was styled by Gautam K.
Reception Outfit Like No Other
Palak is giving main-character energy with this one!
For her reception, Palak chose an unconventional outfit from Gaurav Gupta x Ekaya. She wore a blush pink gown, which featured a long trail at the back and a cape-like upper. But the best part were the pants, which were worn like stockings. The heels were made of the same fabric to give the look a runway feel. Palak completed her look with an heirloom meenakari necklace, passed down to her by her grandmother.
Honestly, I haven’t seen anyone carry such offbeat looks before and I do hope that 2023 brides take notes from Palak!
