Everyone has a story that can’t be forgotten. The story of Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor is one such example. The duo briefly dated between 2008 and 2010, and they were madly in love. So much so that DP even got Ranbir’s initials tattooed! Even after their breakup, the two continued to remain cordial and even gave superhits like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha. Now, the two are happily married to their respective partners, but the internet strongly believes that a part of DP still loves RK.
Recently, Deepika and Ranbir’s film, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, completed 10 years. On the occasion, the entire cast of the film gathered for a reunion. Deepika posted a few images with Ranbir, Kalki, and Aditya Roy Kapur. In the pictures, the actress can be seen beaming broadly as she hugs her co-stars. Soon after these images went viral, the internet put on its detective cap.
One netizen pointed out why they felt that Deepika was still in love with RK. They wrote, “I feel a huge part of Dee still loves Ranbir, a part of her can never love someone the way she loved him, the part that’s hidden cause hearing “move on” is easier than actually being able to. She is probably happy with another person, but again, you can never completely fall out of love.”

As soon as this tweet went viral, the internet was divided! A few agreed with this tweet, while others were left furious. One user wrote, “Deepika Padukone looks so happy here, or, let’s say, she is a different person when she is around him. The charm of Ranbir Kapoor is simply impossible to resist,” and another wrote, “Her happiness knows no bounds when she is with Ranbir, like just look at her.”

TBH, we don’t know about DP, but the internet has clearly not moved on from Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. We strongly believe that DP and RK genuinely care for each other and wish each other well. They’ve both found their happily ever after and as Naina Talwar once said, “Kahin pohochne ke liye, kahin se nikalna bohot zaroori hota hai.”
