The 76th Cannes Film Festival is currently underway, and as expected, it is glamm and glorious. From carpet veterans serving path-breaking looks to desi influencers taking over the carpet in stellar outfits– fashion this year is top-notch. What’s more noteworthy is the fact that many of our desi celebs didn’t even shy away from experimenting with elaborate silhouettes and unconventional hues. And one such celebrity is Shruti Haasan.
The Ramaiya Vastavaiya actress dazzled the coveted red carpet in the most fashionable way possible. Shruti wore a black co-ord set, made by Indian designer Vaishali S Couture, featuring some of the most interesting detailing we have seen in a while. Especially the 3D flower that added much-needed drama to the look.
Shruti added blue statement earrings from Swarovski that sat well with the hint of colour peaking through the flower on her bust. And her Louboutin heels pulled the whole look together.
I like how Shruti’s MUA, Alisa, decided to add bold red lipstick to add a hint of colour to her noir outfit. Further, a huge shoutout to her hairstylist Nicola Noviello too. And kudos to Surbhi Shukla for bringing it all together. A dream team in the true sense!
