And while I was still trying to wrap my head around all the Selena-Hailey-Bieber drama, reports of the actress-singer dating Zayn made my jaw drop. ICYMI, here’s the tea!

It all started after a TikTok video of a user went viral. In the video, she showed text exchanges with her friend who was serving the couple at a restaurant. She starts the video by saying that both she and her friend work at a celeb-favourite restaurant in NYC and saw the pair walking hand-in-hand. She shared, “Tell me how Selena Gomez and Zayn just walked into [restaurant] hand in hand making out and I seated them.“

Other eyewitnesses claimed Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City last night at around 10:30 pm. They walked in holding hands and were kissing. Most restaurant staff and restaurant goers didn’t notice them. It seemed like they were comfortable together and it was clear that it was a date.”

Well, if you are as hooked as I am, then you must be aware of how this comes right after Selena and Zayn started following each other on Instagram. Earlier, it was also speculated that the Only Murders in the Building actress was dating Chainsmoker singer Drew Taggart. But the singer quickly dismissed these reports through an Instagram post (now deleted).

The Zayn Malik & Hailey Beiber Connection

Now, this is where things get interesting. For the unversed, Zayn was previously dating Gigi Hadid, with whom he also shares a daughter named Khai. The two broke up after Zayn got into an altercation with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid.

Now this is where things get interesting. Gigi is a model who is good friends with fellow model Kendal Jenner, her sister Kylie Jenner, and Hailey Bieber. Hailey Bieber is married to Justin Bieber, who used to date Selena long ago.

Now, a while back, Hailey and Kylie faced severe backlash for shading Selena on Instagram. People also started pointing out how Hailey copies everything that Selena does. Following this, Hailey and Kylie started losing followers, while Selena started gaining followers simultaneously.

After dethroning Kylie to become the most followed woman on Instagram, Selena decided to take a break from social media to stay away from all the drama. She’s also one of those few celebrities who has always preached about kindness and love.
