This Lip Gloss May Be Loaded With Glitter But Fails To Sparkle On Application

Just when you think you've finally got your skincare and makeup routine all figured out, along comes a product that makes you wonder how you ever did without it. Lip oils fall into this category. They're not necessarily a must-have, but they sure make life—and your lips—a lot more delightful.

Our Thoughts

The Praush Lip Oils are an overall good product. They’re comfy on the lips, not too sticky but with enough sheen to give your lips that little oomph throughout the day. They work super well with a matte lipstick and do make your lips pretty juicy, I’m not going to lie. And as their website says, these oils are hydrating, lightweight, and do give your lips a lusciously soft look.

I’ve been using Satin for a few weeks and while I do enjoy the formula but there are other lip oils in the market that are just an overall better product. By this I mean that the glitter in the gloss is barely visible – as far as I can tell, this is the USP of the product and when I say you can’t see the glitter at all, I mean AT ALL. As someone who loves glitter makeup products, this one was definitely a big fail – so while it’s a great beginner friendly product, it does not really do much for your over all look of your lips.

How To Use It

Start by using the cushion applicator to smoothly apply the oil across your lips. For a simple, glossy look, apply the oil directly onto your lips. To achieve a more glamorous, plump effect, layer it over your favourite lipstick. Reapply as needed.
