Vineeta Singh is inspiring an entire generation of aspiring entrepreneurs to play by their own rules! Vineeta, an IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad alumni did exactly that. At 23, she rejected a one-crore job offer to start her own business. Vineeta wanted to create a women-centric brand. She started off in 2012 by co-founding FAB Bag, a subscription-based customisable beauty kit. Vineeta and her team closely monitored the feedback shared by FAB Bag customers and identified transfer-proof and long-lasting makeup as the most recurrent request. Armed with the data, she launched SUGAR Cosmetics in 2015 as a D2C brand. Her focus on affordable products that suited Indian skin paid off. In 2019, Vineeta Singh launched the first-ever brand outlet in Kolkata. SUGAR Cosmetics has 125+ stores across India today!

Led by Vineeta, SUGAR Cosmetics became the most followed Indian brand in 2022. It crossed a landmark of 2+ million followers on Instagram, cementing its place as one of the fastest-growing consumer brands in the country. In the same year, SUGAR Cosmetics launched Vineeta’s Favourite Makeup Kit. It got sold out within hours.
