Plixxo Super Blogger Niki Mehra and fashion entrepreneur Sid Madan tied the knot on March 7 and we had been waiting for their wedding pics ever since then. While the fashionista took her time to share her shaadi album with her ‘virtual ladkiwalas,’ the wait was every bit worth it.
Earlier, we saw how wonderful her sagan, dhol night, mehendi and sundowner ceremonies were. Now, we are revealing snaps and snippets from her sangeet, haldi and D-Day events, and we have to say, they will blow your mind. The Dazzling Sangeet Night
For her sangeet, Niki opted for an uber glamm look and donned a dazzling golden lehenga by Dabiri Couture. While her skirt was filled with sequin and mirror works, her blouse had shiny little tassels all over it. She kept her jewellery light by wearing a dainty diamond neckpiece and a pair of drop earrings. Instead of going for traditional bangles as she did on a dhol night, she wore studded bracelets that added a sophisticated appeal to her outfit. In the makeup department, she opted for smokey eyes and nude lippie.
The main highlight of the event, in our opinion, was defs the groom’s surprise performance for his bride with her bridesmaids. He danced to the song, Wo Ladki Jo Sabse Alag Hai from Badshah and he killed it. We gotta give him brownie points for making Niki feel special in the filmiest way ever.
The Pyaar Wali Haldi
Niki and Sid’s haldi was as hatke as it could get. Instead of wearing a traditional yellow OOTD, the bride donned a parrot green saree by Rishi & Vibhuti and paired it with a strappy red blouse. She completed the look by wearing shell jewellery by Vaidaan. The bride and groom’s loved ones showered them with milk and flowers and the ceremony looked beautiful AF!
The Bollywood-esque Wedding
The couple’s beach wedding took place at the dawn and it was absolutely lovely. Niki wore Rimple and Harpreet Narula’s golden lehenga with a lavender accent that had colourful rose and peacock motifs all over it. She paired her sequinned golden blouse with vibrant polki jewellery and added a custom veil by the House Of Kotwara that added a delicate touch to her look.
The ZNMD Moment
The highlight of Niki and Sid’s wedding was defs when the bride squad created a Zindagi Na Milegii Doabara moment on her D-Day. Before the dulhan walked down the aisle, her friends entered by dancing to the song, Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein. It was filmy, cute and absolutely amazing.
We wish Niki and Sid all the very best for the new phase of their lives and hope they give us more such adorable filmy moments together.
