Malaika’s Breakfast Bowl Is Surprisingly Easy To Make & Is Packed With Antioxidants For Your Skin

Malaika Arora is undoubtedly one of the fittest celebrities in the country. The yoga guru has a dedicated amount of time she puts into looking as good as she does. A strict diet and fitness routine that she doesn’t stray away from, could be one of the reasons behind her spotless complexion.

We might not have the same amount of time to dedicate to fitness, but we’re still taking notes from her diet. Namely, her breakfast. It’s refreshing, wholesome and packed with ingredients that are great for the body and skin. Read on to find out what she eats!

Malaika’s Fruity Brekkie

Malaika recently posted a pic on Instagram to share her morning meal which comprised colourful fruits. A bowl each of kiwi, dragon fruit and purple cherries looked splendid and so colourful to kickstart the day with.

Cherries

A great source of vitamins A, B, C and E, cherries are great for both the skin and hair. They are also packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and slow down visible signs of ageing like wrinkles and fine lines.

Kiwi

Packed with Vitamin C, kiwis help combat skin pigmentation and blemishes and even help in fading scars over time. The fruit is also high on water content and boosts the hydration of the skin. It is loaded with antioxidants and is also an excellent alternative and equally soothing as cucumber eye patches!

Dragon Fruit

Loaded with Vitamin B3, this fruit helps soothe sunburns and skin inflammation. It also leaves the skin looking rejuvenated thanks to the presence of Vitamin C and antioxidants.

All three fruits are antioxidant-rich and packed with Vitamin C, making it clear that they could be a reason behind Malla’s perpetual glow.

For an on-the-go breakfast smoothie, if you’re running late, the three fruits can also be blended together and consumed in juice form. They’re sweet and tangy enough so you won’t need to add any additional ingredients!
