Want Fuller Hair? Try The Hack Kim Kardashian Uses

Want Fuller Hair? Try The Hack Kim Kardashian Uses

One of the most surprising things about ageing is how thin your hair starts to get. Don’t get me wrong, all the myriad of products and oiling therapy have really helped my hair growth but I still feel like I’m on my way to a receding hairline (thanks dad!), which is not something I’m particularly excited about.

I could eventually get hair transplants or hair fillers, but the finances don’t match up and I can’t justify spending so much money on looking ‘less bald’. Which brings me to the main point of this piece – the other day I saw this GRWM video of Kim Kardashian where her hairstylist at the time used a ‘scalp concealer’ to hide a few alleged bald spots on the star’s head. I mean, if Kim K can do it, what’s stopping me?

The Lowdown On Scalp Foundation

Think of scalp foundation as makeup for your hair. Its purpose is simply to create an illusion of a fuller scalp. Commonly used along the parting line, crown, and hairline, the aim of this product is to conceal thinning areas on the scalp, add faux volume and visual fullness to your hair.

Now, scalp foundation isn’t just a fleeting trend. It addresses a genuine concern and provides an instant solution. Whether it’s to conceal greys or to add density to thinning areas, with the right products and technique, you can achieve a look that’s both convincing and chic.

How to Use: Apply to dry, styled hair, gently pat.

The Natural Black Hair Line Powder is a great powder that perfectly conceals grey roots and bald spots for a fuller scalp appearance.

How to Use: Dab on dry hair with the applicator, focusing on sparse areas.

Another one for the brown hair, this L’Oreal Paris Magic Retouch in the shade Dark Brown is an instant root touch-up spray that seamlessly covers your roots, drying quickly for a natural, flawless look.

How to use: Hold 10-15 cm from hair, spray.

This quick fix is definitely a confidence booster. Whether you’re dealing with thinning hair or just want to add some extra oomph to your hairstyle, these are worth a try before you splurge on a more expensive, in-depth hair treatment. Honestly, if it’s good enough for Kim K it’s definitely worth a try!
