After making a memorable appearance on the red carpet, Dolly Singh decided to take a stroll on the French streets in a simple cotton saree. In an Instagram reel, she expressed how she wanted to do a “simple saree moment” in Cannes, and well, she did exactly that. The content creator chose a traditional crisp white cotton saree and added some desi-ness to the French Riviera town.
The white saree featuring a minimalistic gold border is a traditional Kerala Kasavu. The zari (gold thread) used in the saree’s border is referred to as kasavu. The name is derived from a material used in the weaving and manufacturing of these sarees. These sarees are very light and comfortable to wear.
Dolly’s Kasavu saree is from Indie Picks and was paired with a plain white sleeveless blouse that came with an open back. She completed the look with pearl drop earrings and a matching bag.
