Here are 7 gorgeous, romantic locations for honeymoon in India that are even better than going international! And no, we are not talking about the typical Goa and Srinagar honeymoons!

1. Coorg, Karnataka

A charming little town in South India, it is set amidst verdant valleys, orange orchards and teak wood forests – just the perfect setting for a honeymooning couple. Must do: The Abbey falls located amongst lush coffee plantations are a breathtaking sight. The Golden Temple at Bylekuppe is another must visit. The interesting architecture of this Buddhist temple is a major tourist attraction. You can even indulge in some delicious Tibetan food in the numerous Tibetan restaurants in this area. For the adventure junkies, white water rafting at Barapole river is a thrilling experience! How to reach: The nearest domestic airport is the Mangalore Airport, about 160 km away. 2. Jaisalmer, Rajasthan
