Alisha Shirodkar and Shrey Aggarwal went to the same high school. But it wasn’t until a friend tried to set them up after college that the two really got talking. They dated for three years before he popped the question. What followed was a fun destination Goa wedding with a crazy pool party, a Tarun Tahiliani lehenga and a gorgeous wedding album by The Photo Diary. “Goa is a guaranteed good time. We are both beach bums and wanted an intimate and no-fuss wedding. Goa promised all of that!” shares Alisha.
The Pool Party!
We love Alisha’s super-chill outfit for the welcome lunch and pool party!
Mumbai-based event planners Tamarind Global built a stage at the edge of the pool and the afternoon kicked off with Goan singer Crystal belting out popular favourites. Later, the legendary band Paris House Addict took over and mesmerised the crowd well past sunset! “It was the best party I’ve been to in my life. It went on for 7-8 hours and people of all ages were rocking!” gushes Alisha!
The Wedding
Shrey looked dapper in an Arjun Khanna sherwani. We love how the beaded necklace adds a subtle royal edge!

Alisha’s hair and makeup was done by Shayli Nayak. We love how beautifully her juda is adorned with pretty white flowers.
Alisha advises brides-to-be to let go of the small things: “If you micro-manage your own wedding, it will pass in a blur. Things are bound to go wrong. Deal with crises with a little patience and some laughter, and soak in every bit of these magical few days.”
