Hack #1: Concealer As Lipstick
Can’t find your favourite nude lipstick? Just dab concealer using your fingertips on your lips. You can add moisture or shine to it by putting gloss over it. There you have those pretty nude lips!
Hack #2: Highlight With Eyeshadow
After your base is set, apply shimmery white eyeshadow on your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, the cupid’s bow and on the chin. Gently smudge the eyeshadow with your fingers. But don’t overdo it – use just enough to brighten your face, and you’re ready!
Hack #3: The Spoon And The Mascara
Most of us smudge our mascara a bit when we apply it – but it’s easy to avoid. Simply take a spoon and hold it over your eyelid, and apply your mascara towards the bump of the spoon. Wasn’t that easy?!
Hack #4: The Lighter And The Lipstick
There’s nothing worse than having your favourite lipstick break, right? But it’s super easy to fix. Just take a lighter or a candle and hover the flame over the broken end of your lipstick. Do not actually touch your lipstick with the flame – keep it at a safe enough distance to just warm it.
Now take the other half of your broken lipstick and literally stick it on the other. Once again, hold the flame over the joint. And then keep it in the fridge to let it harden and set. There you go – your lipstick is now fixed!
Hack #5: Glitter And Tape
Glitter tends to stick to our face after a big party or function. But here’s how to quickly get rid of any leftover glitter. Take a strip of tape and put it around your skin first to remove its stickiness and then put it on your face. Before you dab it on your face, though, thoroughly cleanse your face. Simply dab the tape wherever there is glitter, and as you peel it off – the glitter will come off too.
