What sparked your interest in fashion and street style?
Urmi: Neither of us thought that one day, we would end up styling & blogging. As a child, seeing my mother running her own fashion business inspired me. As for Hemal, in school, she was a tomboy and her interest in fashion grew as she stepped into college and so she ventured into making accessories and exhibiting them. Both of us had our own ways to stepping into style and being inspired by fashion.
What is your first fashion memory?
Urmi: I remember mom getting me matching separates from Fashion street when I was 12. Hemal: Being appointed as costume In-charge for the school drama and a dance act in class 8th.
What is your personal style statement?
Urmi: We like to go minimal & classic.
What made you take up blogging?
Hemal: After styling for non-fiction programmes on TV and then moving on to advertisements, it was an urge to do something new and different at the same time. But we were looking for something related to our profession and soon, we found it.
What would you like to tell all aspiring bloggers?
Urmi: If you have thought of it, make it happen. Stop thinking and take a step forward, everything else will just fall in place. Learn from your surroundings and keep competing with yourself in an attempt to do something better every time.
